This toolkit is designed to provide practical support for schools in Wales to help them develop and strengthen their approach to family and community engagement (FaCE). The emphasis is on engagement that helps families to actively support their child’s learning. There is a focus on how to engage in particular with families of children who are currently underperforming, children from deprived backgrounds, those receiving less support for their learning at home. The toolkit is formed of this document plus 25 associated resources.
